Online Counseling

Our lives are SO busy.

Is it just me, or has the traffic in the Denver metro area gotten significantly more congested? And let’s not even get started on the crowded I-25 corridor or the I-70 jam, even when it isn’t rush hour!

It’s frustrating to try to squeeze more things into our lives, even important things like seeing a therapist. The thought alone can bring on a stress headache…

When everything seems to fall apart…

There are those days: The dishwasher breaks, the car battery dies, or the dog gets sick on the carpet.

You need your therapist to help you deal with the stress, but the car is out of commission.

What to do?

Enter the convenience and security of online counseling!

Although not all counseling can be done online, we’re happy to deliver Spiritual Deconstruction Coaching, Empty Nest, and Third Culture Kid (Cultural Adjustment) in this format.

Just pull up the device of your choice, and as long as you have access to the Internet, you are set. The minimal Internet speed requirement for upload/download is at least 750kb/s, which is pretty minimal.

Within a few clicks, you can get the help you need without all the added stress.

Those who travel are quite familiar with Skype to keep in touch with friends and family. is similar in the sense that you can see and hear the other person on the other end. However, the difference is that it is secure, so you don’t have to worry about privacy, which is important in a counseling environment.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

All you need is a computer or device that has a camera and a microphone.

  1. If you are using a Mac or PC, you can use Chrome, Firefox or Safari as your browser.
    a. On an Android, use Chrome
    b. On an IOS, use Safari.
  2. Just type or click this into your browser.
  3. Next, type in your name and click to check in, and voila! you are now ready for online counseling/coaching.
It is secure and HIPPA-compliant. There is no need to download software or to register. For you, this means that the communication between you and me is private and protected.

If you are a visual person, here’s a flyer explaining the above steps: Steps to Check in. Just remember to type in in Step 2.

Online counseling is like having your therapist in your back pocket.

No need to cross town in heavy traffic or try to schedule a time when that is not a concern (like the middle of the night!).

For those who travel for work, it is also convenient to have access to counseling or coaching when you need it, not just when you’re in town.

Schedule a time, and let’s get started!

If you are still not sure if this is for you because of the technology involved, I also offer a free “set up” time of up to 15 minutes.

All you need to do is call me at (720) 201-5030 or email me at, and you’re well on your way!
